• Timerman Hall at SUNY Potsdam

    Renovations to SUNY Potsdam's Timerman Hall were completed ahead of the Fall 2019 semester.   • Capital Project for East Aurora UFSD nearly finished!

    Phase 2 of the Capital Project at East Aurora Union Free School District is nearing completion and included improvements for safety, occupant comfort, academic and athletic success.  Security upgrades included a new secure entrances for the elementary, middle and high schools. These renovations were carefully done to maintain the design of each school, and in the case of the middle school historical architectural elements will be highlighted.

  • MacKenzie Hall wins another award!

  • Criminal Justice Dept. to get a new home at SUNY Canton

    SUNY Canton is renovating their original 1960's athletic facility to house the Center for Criminal Justice, Intelligence and Cyber Security as well as the University Police Department.  The inclusion of the UPD will create opportunities for collaboration with law enforcement officials.  Dana Hall originally contained a gymnasium and a pool.

  • Eagle Hall opens at SUNY Brockport providing necessary swing space

    SUNY Brockport recently celebrated the opening of the brand new Eagle Hall.  This new residence hall was built using Design-Build by the team of Purcell Construction Company and Mach Architecture.  The 263 bed residence hall includes double loaded corridors hosting double bedrooms each with a private bathroom.

  • Renovation of Bishop Hall adds to the housing stock at Buffalo State College

    With the demand for housing high, Buffalo State looked to Bishop Hall in order to address the lack of student housing on campus.  Bishop was originally constructed in 1958 as a double-loaded corridor residence hall, but was repurposed as classrooms and offices during the 1970’s.  This new renovation provides a modernized residence hall for the students of Buffalo State’s Honors Program.  The design required a floor plan to accommodate 204 beds, amenity spaces throughout the b...

  • Residence Hall at SUNY Plattsburgh provides Student Support

    After the successful renovation of a similar residence hall, SUNY Plattsburgh engaged Mach to address Macomb Hall.  Focusing on amenities for the students, Macomb Hall is now able to accommodate current and future student needs with a very inclusive approach.  Beginning with ADA accessibility, a new elevator addition was constructed providing access to all floors.

  • East Aurora UFSD students enjoying their new Athletic Facilities!

    Phase 1 of the 2016 Capital Project for the East Aurora Union Free School District focused on upgrades for the District's Athletic Facilities.  Students now enjoy a new synthetic turf field with 8-lane running track large enough to host invitational track meets.  Spectators enjoy new bleachers with press box as well as a new scoreboard.

  • 2018 SUNY/PPAA & NYAPPA Conference

    The 2018 SUNY/PPAA & NYAPPA Conference was held in beautiful Lake Placid, New York. Mach was a sponsor and exhibitor at the conference and several of our team attended.  Principal Doug Schaefer, AIA, LEED AP was a presenter alongside Alfred State College's Senior  Director of Facilities Glen Brubaker and Pathfinder Engineers and Architect's principal Alex Strasenburgh, PE LEED AP BD+C.

  • SUNY Brockport new Design Build Dorm nearing completion

    The SUNY Brockport DASNY Design-Build residence hall from Purcell Construction Corp. & Mach Architecture - Eagle Hall is nearing completion.  It will be ready for SUNY Brockport students Fall of 2018.

  • Golf Tournament for Alfred State

  • JCC's CLC wins Interior Design Award!

    We recently attended the inaugural IIDANY Buffalo City Center Chapter Interior Design Awards held at the Hotel Henry in Buffalo.  The chapter did a wonderful job and put together a fantastic event.  Our team was thrilled to hear Mach Architecture called as the winner in the EDUCATION category for our work on Jefferson Community College's Collaborative Learning Center!

  • Golfing for Alfred State

    Mach was the presenting sponsor for the 2017 Alfred State Pioneers Drive for the Development Fund.  This event included the opportunity for several of our team to golf:  owners Brian Kelley and Doug Schaefer as well as team members Jacob Wolff and Bobby Elsaesser.  Both Doug and Bobby are alums of Alfred State College and have been working on the multi-phased renovations going on at MacKenzie Hall.
