• SUNYPPAA Conference 2017

    This year's SUNY PPAA & NYAPPA Conference was held in our own backyard:  Buffalo, NY!  This conference is one of our favorites, as it gives our team the opportunity to connect with clients, colleagues, and consultants.  SUNYPPAA does a great job providing plenty of opportunities to interact with attendees and we always come away with a greater understanding of our clients and their campuses and a renewed excitement for supporting them in their goals.

    Mach attended this year's NYSSBA (New York State School Boards Association) conference held in Lake Placid, NY in October.  We always appreciate the opportunity to meet and talk with school board members to hear first hand the challenges they face as well as great things going on in their districts.  We were also grateful that the conference was held in Lake Placid.

  • East Aurora UFSD Capital Project- 1st Phase

  • #TeamMach tours projects in progress

    Recently the entire team at Mach took a day out of the office to visit two of our projects in construction!  We all piled into an executive van and headed first to SUNY Brockport.  The brand new residence hall at SUNY Brockport is a Design-Build project by Purcell Construction Corp.

  • American School & University's 2016 Architecture Portfolio

    Mach designed the new John W. Deans Collaborative Learning Center at Jefferson Community College in Watertown, New York.  This project is highlighted in the 2016 Architecture Portfolio of Penton's American School & University magazine.

  • AIA Buffalo/WNY Design Awards Gala

    The principals and several staff members of Mach Architecture recently attended the annual Design Awards Gala sponsored by the Buffalo / WNY Chapter of the AIA.  The annual event is held at the historic Twentieth Century Club in Downtown Buffalo and offers plenty of networking opportunities for fellow members of the AIA and the local A/E/C industry as well as the chance to see many amazing design projects.While the project we submitted, the John W.     Mach is currently looking for an Architectural Drafter.  Minimum 3+ years of experience.  Must have AutoCAD and Revit capabilities.

  • Buffalo State Golf & Tennis Scholarship Classic

    September 6, 2016 found Mach principals Brian Kelley and Doug Schaefer along with Associate Darlene Fagan at Brookfield Country Club in Clarence, New York.  Mach was happy to be a sponsor of the event, which turned out to be on a beautiful, if very warm, September day.

  • State of the art Nursing and Paramedic Labs for JCC Students!

    Within the newly dedicated David G. Gregor Building, students at Jefferson Community College now have access to new state of the art nursing and paramedic labs.  This building housed the former library (Dewey Hall), which has been moved to the new John W.

  • The John W. Deans Collaborative Learning Center opens at JCC

    In the spring of 2016 Jefferson Community College in Watertown, New York, opened the doors to the new John W. Deans Collaborative Learning Center.  This state-of-the-art facility takes the traditional library and media center functions and supplements them with a Learning and Success Center, Career Planning and Placement Center, Strategies to Achieve Results program, Veteran Services, tutoring and a technology rich collaborative classroom.

  • Corporate Challenge 2016

    Five Mach team members braved the crowd of 12,488 runners and walkers to compete in the 2016 Corporate Challenge in Buffalo on June 23rd.  The 3.5 mile race began in the Frederick Law Olmsted designed Delaware Park where over where over 300 tents had been set up.While none of our team were in the top 500, we all managed to finish the race and have a good time.  (Which is really the point, isn't it?)Participants included Mach principals Brian Kelley and Doug Schaefer, project archi...

  • Golfing for Alfred State

    This year Mach was proud to sponsor the Alfred State College Pioneers Drive for Development Fund Annual Golf Tournament!  The event was held June 17th at Twin Hickory Golf Club in Hornell, NY. Representing the firm were principals Doug Schaefer, AIA and Brian Kelley, RA along with associate Rob Brunner and architectural designer Jacob Wolf.
