Doug Schaefer, AIA, LEED GA celebrates 33 years at Mach Architecture!
Doug’s natural ability to build rapport and connect with clients and the extended design and construction team have been the foundation of his successful project approach. He works hard to understand and embrace each client’s goals and values and adeptly translates those into successfully built projects. Doug has designed and managed projects across New York state. His genuine desire to improve communities, school and university campuses, and individuals through design while guiding the next generation of architects fuels his passion for architecture.
Our clients, the firm, and staff have all benefitted from Doug’s dedication, integrity, and commitment. He is an essential part of the ability of our clients to achieve their project goals and the firm reaching its goals while serving as an inspiration to tomorrow’s architects. Over the years Doug has welcomed many a high school or college student interested in architecture as a career to the office to get a sense of what it is like to be an architect. On campus projects he has provided tours to architecture students during project construction.
